Phoenix Suns DFS Notes

Devin Booker scored 30 points on 13-of-23 shooting (2-of-6 3-pointers) with seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and one turnover to lead Phoenix to a 115-85 victory in Tuesday’s Game 5. Booker came out with an agenda and set the tone in the first 12 minutes of the game, scoring 18 of his 30 points in the first frame. With Anthony Davis being out, the Suns could not afford to drop a game on their home court in what has turned to a best-of-3 after Phoenix tied the series at two-a-piece in Game 4 on Sunday. Booker and the Suns will now have two opportunities to close out the Lakers and advance to the second-round of the playoffs for the first time since 2010.

Boston Celtics DFS Notes

Anthony Davis (strained left groin) will be a game-time decision vs. the Suns for Game 6 on Thursday. AD did some work during Wednesday’s practice and the Lakers are “hopeful he’s able to get back out there,” according to Vogel. It’s an elimination game for the Lakers, who trail the Suns 3-2, so Davis will obviously do everything he can to get back in the lineup. Whether his pulled groin allow that to happen is another question, especially since he didn’t look good making limited moves prior to Game 5.

The Lakers, meanwhile, are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven conference quarterfinals games and have covered in four of their last five games coming off a loss.
