Till vs Vettori Headlines April 10

UFC betting odds are on the board for the full fight card at UFC Fight Night on Saturday, April 10 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

After a terrific UFC 260 event on March 27, the promotion is taking Easter weekend off but is back in action on April 10 headlined by a fight between middleweight contenders Darren Till and Marvin Vettori. UFC Fight Night odds opened with Vettori as a -170 favorite while Till comes back at +140.

Where will UFC Fight Night on April 10 take place?

UFC Fight Night: Till vs. Vettori will take place at the APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is also being referred to as UFC on ABC 2 and UFC Vegas 23. The octagon at the APEX has a diameter of 25-feet, making it five feet smaller than the standard UFC cage.

Who is fighting at UFC Fight Night on April 10?

Besides the headline event, a featherweight bout between Arnold Allen and Sodiq Yusuff will take place as the co-main event. Other fights on the main card include Julian Marquez vs. Sam Alvey, Nina Ansaroff vs. Mackenzie Dern, and the always entertaining “Platinum” Mike Perry vs. Daniel Rodriguez.

Darren Till vs Marvin Vettori

Marvin “The Italian Dream” Vettori comes into this fight as No. 6-ranked middleweight contender and is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jack Hermansson last December. Vettori lost a split decision fight to current 185-pound champ Israel Adesanya in 2018 and has since reeled off four straight wins. The 27-year-old is a well-rounded fighter who combines high-pressure striking with good grappling and submission skills. 

Darren Till is the No. 5-ranked middleweight but is coming off a decision loss to Robert Whittaker last summer and is just 1-3 over his last four fights. That said, those losses came against top fighters like Robert Whittaker, Jorge Masvidal, and Tyron Woodley who he faced for the welterweight title in 2018.

Before that loss against Woodley, Till began his MMA career with a 17-0-1 record, including going 5-0-1 in the UFC. The 28-year-old is a very technical striker and is excellent in the clinch with his Muay Thai skills. This bout could serve as a title eliminator with Adesanya praising Till’s striking and expressing his desire to face the Liverpool native in the octagon.

Arnold Allen vs Sodiq Yusuff

This should be a banger between a pair of rising young fighters with eerily similar resumes. Allen and Yusuff are ranked No. 10 and No. 11, respectively, in the featherweight division and both are 27-years-old and unbeaten in the UFC. 

Allen has won nine fights in a row, most recently a decision win over Nik Lentz in January of 2020. He’s 16-1 in his MMA career, including a perfect 7-0 in the octagon. Yusuff’s previous win also came by points in January of last year, and he’s 11-1 in his overall career while going 4-0 in the UFC.
