Washington vs. Cowboys, 11/26/20 Thanksgiving Day NFL Betting Predictions

Despite having 3-7 records, respectively, the Washington Football Team and Dallas Cowboys still have a lot to play for on Thanksgiving Day. With a horrendous NFC East up for grabs, which team will emerge with a win and a cover today in Dallas, where the Cowboys are 3-point favorites?

Washington Football Team DFS Spin

Terry McLaurin (ankle) is questionable for Week 12 against the Cowboys. McLaurin was limited in practice this week and should be able to go Thursday, but we’ll have to check back Thanksgiving afternoon to be sure. Assuming he plays, McLaurin is a lock-and-load every-week WR1 hogging targets in Washington.

Dallas Cowboys DFS Spin

Amari Cooper caught 6-of-7 targets for 81 yards in Dallas’ Week 11 win over the Vikings. Cooper arguably made the most important catch of Dallas’ season when he hauled in a 10-yard gain on 4th-and-6 during the team’s 11-play, 66-yard game-winning drive. As was the case whenever Andy Dalton was under center earlier this year, Cooper again led the Cowboys in targets and receiving yards against Minnesota. Washington’s front-seven offers a formidable pass rush but lacks the talent to man Cooper one-on-one Thursday. He’ll be ranked as a volume-based WR2 for that matchup.

Washington vs. Cowboys Betting Prediction

The Football Team is just 2-5 against the spread in its last seven meetings with the Cowboys but is 9-4 at the betting window in its last 13 trips to Dallas. The underdog in this series is also 28-13 against the spread in the last 41 games in this series while Washington is also 5-2 against the number in its last seven games coming off a win. The Cowboys, meanwhile, are 1-4 against the spread in their last five divisional games, are 1-7 against the number in their last eight conference games and are winless at 0-5 against the number in their last five games when favored.

THANKSGIVING DAY OVER/UNDER PREDICTION: WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM +3
